Cats learn from watching, and especially kittens need a little guidance sometimes. If the kitty relieves itself outside the box, don’t punish it, just put it into its cat box immediately.
Kittens develop to the age of a 15 year old human child in just the first year of their lives. An adult cat in the prime of his life at 32 human years is only four years old. Kittens may carry antibodies from their mother without actually having the virus — so any kittens testing positive should be retested once they are more than 3-4 months old. Kittens chasing after Ping pong balls is more entertaining than watching television.
Check your cat regularly for flea dirt, which is a nice way of saying flea poop. It looks like specks of black pepper and is actually dried blood. Check and if necessary trim the tips of the claws regularly to prevent the claws growing into the pad.
Sphynx are outgoing and love to show off, which makes them always sought out in shows. If you decide you’d love to call a Sphynx your own, you may have to wait. Sphynx cats and kittens like to stay warm in your home. They prefer temperatures to be at least 70 degrees.
Remember feline noses are far more sensitive than ours, every trace of detergent needs to be rinsed off. Secondly, let the water from the tap stand for a while before putting the bowl down for your cat, this will allow the chemicals to dissipate.
